That is a gorgeous looking piece from their new 2012 Spring Collection! I don’t think I’ll be getting that but I have splurged on their new Cruel Gardinia Meteorites highlighter as it’s limited edition.
Enjoy your new Guerlain mascara. It is so beautiful. Don’t you just love Guerlain.

I bought #12 Corail Fauve & #15 Rose Vinyl. They are the greatest lip product ever created in my opinion. I can’t wait to order more !

Oh silly me. The photo on top right is a gorgeous pinky red. I remember a few years ago I had to choose between Electric Eel and Freshwater. I picked Electric Eel as it was matte. Loved them both but couldn’t get two the same colour. Wish I’d picked Freshwater now as it is gorgeous on you with it’s satin finish.

The blue eyeshadow is MAC Freshwater- and all-time favourite. I’ve only got the YSL one on – the lighting in the pics is different, but I wanted to take one to show the applicator lying flat. The true shade is the top right – a very bold pinky-red. I’m going to do the Chanel Laque next week i think, after mentioning it here. They have loads of lovely shades, right across the spectrum, from pale nudes, to corals, pinks, true red and deep plums, and it really does last. it is very glossy as well – made me feel very 1980s at times!

All 19 shades ! Sounds like they might have something to suit me Both look gorgeous on you and love the intense blue eyeshadow. I do see how the YSL one has something else about it !!

Hello, I’m getting married this year and was wondering if you could help, I’m struggling to find a dress that I like. I’m looking for something vintage inspired-20′s to 50′s – figure hugging. Do you have any suggestions? or can recommend anything/where. HELP! The only real designer I have come across that I like is Jenny Packham, unfortunatly I can’t afford the price tag and the 2nd hand dresses are hard to come by and are still rather expensive. Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Thanks for the rec on the Illamasqua one. I’ll be in London on Monday and will check it out at Selfridges. Hope they will give me a sample. Lots of SAs don’t like giving out samples and when they say they have none I pull out one of my little pots from my bag and say “I’ve got an empty tester pot for you”. Always works

I’ve not tried any Asian ones, so I can’t make a comparison. The No7 one is okay, but i think i preferred the 17 one – I quite liked it when I used it last year. The Lauder one is really nice. It is exclusive to Selfridges for a month or so!;-D It seems to have the same properties, ingredients and claims as the rest, I think maybe they just wanted to have a different name! There’s an Illamasqua one, Skin Foundation, I think, I’ll need to check back my blogs. It’s amazing, probably more like the traditional Asian ones.
